After waking up, Steffy suffered amnesia that left her believing that Liam was her husband. She had no memories of Finn and their son, Hayes, let alone the shooting that took Finn’s life. When Ridge comments, “We’ll find who did this to you… to both of you,” Steffy becomes puzzled. “To both of us?” she repeats.
Suddenly, the floodgates open and Steffy’s eyes fill with tears as the memories come rushing back all at once. “I remember!” she cries. “Finn! My son! I want to see them!” Ridge and Thomas look uncomfortable and Taylor assures her daughter: “He loved you so much, sweetheart.”
Last week, Steffy was insisting on seeing Liam and Kelly, believing them to be her family, but now that she remembers Finn and their son, she continues to insist that she be allowed to see them. “Where is he now?” she asks, growing concerned at everyone’s silence. “Why isn’t Finn here?”
While Steffy remembers Finn and Hayes, she still doesn’t remember everything, specifically what happened to her husband that fateful night in the alley behind Il Giardino. Learning the awful truth will be heartbreaking, but might it also be the first step towards Steffy remembering the rest of what happened — specifically that Sheila was the one who killed Finn and left her for dead?
