B&B Alum Rome Flynn Joins the Cast of GREY’S ANATOMY!

Daytime alum Rome Flynn has landed another juicy primetime gig! This time he will be appearing in the recurring role of Wendell Ndugu on GREY’S ANATOMY beginning in the episode airing Thursday, March 31, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, as revealed in Variety. “Dream come true,” the actor tweeted when the news broke. “See you Thursday!”

Soap fans remember Flynn as Zende Forrester on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, a role he played from 2015-17, and which earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2018. The actor is also no stranger to “Shondaland,” having played Gabriel Maddox on seasons five and six of HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

On GREY’S, Flynn’s character of Wendell is the brother of Anthony Hill’s Winston. ABC’s description of the role calls Wendell “a typical younger sibling with a mischievous sense of humor. He’s hoping to impress Winston with his new sales rep role at a medical technology company.”

In addition to GREY’S ANATOMY, Flynn can also be seen in the Netflix superhero series RAISING DION, playing Tevin Wakefield in the second season. He also played Morris Mackey in recent episodes of THE ROOKIE. So the actor has found quite a lot of success after leaving B&B!
