THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

B&B’s Delon de Metz Cast in an Exciting New Primetime Role!

Please join us in congratulating THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Delon de Metz (Zende) on his new starring role in the new NBC drama pilot UNBROKEN! This is the newest series from NEW AMSTERDAM executive producer Shaun Cassidy (yes, that Shaun Cassidy!).

The premise of UNBROKEN sounds extremely sudsy and in the vein of classic primetime soaps like DALLAS and FALCON CREST. Deadline is reporting that the show revolves around three ranch families in California as their lives and loves intersect and three young women all vie to come out on top in a national rodeo championship.

De Metz will be playing Cole, a young man who runs the trail-riding operation at one of the ranches and is struggling to discover his true place in the family. The three leading ladies in the cast will include Anna Wood (THE CODE), Oluniké Adeliyi (THE PORTER), and Amanda Payton (UNITED STATES OF AL).

De Metz joined the cast of B&B in October 2020 as the newest actor to play the role of Zende Forrester, following Rome Flynn’s exit in 2017. Since UNBROKEN is currently just a pilot, shooting it shouldn’t impact the actor’s role on the CBS soap, but if it is picked up for a full series order, that could change. In 2021 Kiara Barnes left her role of Zoe on B&B in order to star in FOX’s new FANTASY ISLAND reboot.

Right now, Zende is currently involved in a dramatic love triangle with Paris and Carter (although he isn’t currently aware that there’s a third person involved in the relationship!), so there’s still lots of juicy story coming up on B&B. Stay tuned to see what happens next, and keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for updates on UNBROKEN!
