Kimberly McCullough Shares Her Exciting New Show!

Back in September 2021, GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin) revealed another new gig that saw her directing an episode of the new Hulu series HOW I MET YOUR FATHER. “Another fun one in the books,” she shared on Instagram, adding of the cast, “You’re gonna love ‘em.”

And now, the show that McCullough helmed is finally out! “Hey everyone!” she announced. The episode I directed is now streaming! I got to make some new friends and work with one of my oldest and dearest friends, Minae Noji (ex-Kelly, GH). Hope you enjoy it ‘cause I had the best time working on this show.”

HOW I MET YOUR FATHER is a new sitcom, a sequel to the popular HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. The series airs on Hulu and stars Hilary Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Suraj Sharma, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Kim Cattrall. McCullough directed the third episode of the first season, titled “The Fixer.” In it, Duff’s Sophie helps her friend take photos for his tinder profile, and another character is looking for an apartment, which is where Noji’s realtor comes in. The episode is also written by SCHITT’S CREEK’s Dan Levy.

McCullough got her start in show business as a child star, getting her big break in 1985 playing Robin Scorpio on GH. Viewers watched her literally grow up on screen over the years and while she ended her run on the soap in 2018, the actress has made sporadic guest appearances in the years since. But beginning in 2013, the Daytime Emmy Award winner decided to step behind the camera and began directing episodes of series like PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, FULLER HOUSE, ONE DAY AT A TIME, THE CONNERS, IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES and FANTASY ISLAND.

This episode of HOW I MET YOUR FATHER is just the latest credit for McCullough’s resume and it certainly won’t be the last. So be sure to check out the new episode of the comedy and keep coming back here to because we’ll keep you updated on what the fan-favorite is up to next!
