Fans who miss seeing Joe Flanigan as Neil on GENERAL HOSPITAL can enjoy the actor in a brand new role! He can currently be seen playing The Military in the second season of SEE, currently streaming on Apple TV+! “Kudos to the amazing wardrobe department,” he declared, showing off a pic of himself in costume you can see above.
SEE is a science fiction series that takes place in the future, centuries after a virus wiped out all but two million humans, with the survivors losing their eyesight. It stars Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard with Dave Bautista joining them to star in the second season. Flanigan first appeared in the second episode of the second season and is slated to appear in a couple more episodes. Perhaps if his character survives, he can be in season three!
This recurring role on SEE reunites Flanigan with his former co-star, Momoa. The pair starred together on STARGATE: ATLANTIS from 2004-2009 where the future GH alum played Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and the future Aquaman played Ronon Dex.
Flanigan became a fast favorite with many GH fans when he joined the cast as Dr. Neil Byrne in February 2019, especially as his relationship with Alexis developed into a full-fledged romance complete with all the ups and downs you’d expect in a daytime drama. Those fans were also left disappointed when Neil was killed off suddenly in September 2020, ending his run on the soap.
Since leaving GH, Flanigan has appeared as Officer Wilton in the movie Let Us In, and in addition to his new gig on SEE, will be starring as Travis in the upcoming film Room 19.
