GENERAL HOSPITAL

GH’s Inga Cadranel Becomes a United States Citizen!

Join us in bestowing a big round of congratulations on GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Inga Cadranel (Harmony) as she is now officially a United States citizen! The actress shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram on Feb. 22, posting a picture as she stood next to the Stars and Stripes outside of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services offices in Los Angeles.

“Heyyyyy!” Cadranel captioned the photo of her holding her U.S. Certificate of Citizenship, along with a miniature American flag. “Today I became a U.S citizen!” The GH star included several hashtags with her post, including that she was “grateful” as well as “here to stay” and “here to slay.”

The milestone moment was met with congratulations my many of Cadranel’s followers, including several of her colleagues at the soap. “Congrats!” enthused her TV daughter, Katelyn MacMullen (Willow), while Johnny Wactor (Brando) wrote, “We added a good one today then!” Cameron Mathison (Drew) and Avery Kristen Pohl (Esme) also joined in with their congratulations, as did former GH star Coby Ryan McLaughlin (ex-Shiloh).

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Cadranel was a successful model before beginning her television career on Canadian shows like LEAP YEARS and THE ELEVENTH HOUR and RENT-A-GOALIE. She’d been living in Los Angeles with her husband, fellow Canadian actor Gabriel Hogan, and their two children, for several years when she was cast on GH in 2019 as Shiloh’s right-hand woman at the Dawn of Day cult.

Believe it or not, Cadranel is actually the second GH star to become a United States citizen this month! Earlier in February, Swedish native Sofia Mattsson (Sasha) revealed that she, too, had officially become an American citizen.

Congratulations to Cadranel for passing the tough naturalization exam and officially becoming a United States citizen!
