Brad Maule Stars in the New Holiday Movie ‘A Year From Now’

Fans who miss seeing Brad Maule on GENERAL HOSPITAL as the late Tony Jones can enjoy the actor in the new holiday movie A Year From Now, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime!

The film, written and directed by Ricky Kennedy, is a twist on A Christmas Carol and Groundhog Day. Athena Hayes plays Veronica Novak, a young woman with an uncertain future who suddenly finds herself waking up each day for a week during Christmas to find that another year has passed! Maule portrays Veronica’s dad, Ronald Novak, who — along with the rest of the family — is understandably confused when Veronica tries to explain her rapid traveling through time.

Naturally, Veronica’s unsettling experience will likely teach her about the true meaning of Christmas and family, while also hopefully helping her figure out exactly what she wants to do with her life!

A Year From Now Poster

Maule joined the cast of GH back in 1984 and as Tony Jones, became a fan-favorite among viewers, who were very upset when the character was killed off in 2006. He did make a special ghostly appearance in a 2019 episode of the soap, but that just made many fans realize just how much they missed him. In addition to appearing on the GH spin-off PORT CHARLES as Tony, Maule also had small roles on PASSIONS and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Since leaving daytime, the talented actor has continued to appear in movies like Flutter, Sleep No More, and others.

Check out this trailer for A Year From Now and then go stream it on Amazon! (It’s available to rent and if you have Amazon Prime, it’s included for free!)
