Please join us in congratulating soap alum Jen Lilley, who has recently signed a multi-picture deal with GAC Media! “I’m so thankful for every opportunity I’ve had as an actress,” she shared on Instagram when the news broke. “I truly believe I have the kindest fans, many of you have become my friends, and I’m so excited to share this next chapter and what GAC TV is building with you.”
Lilley, who starred as Teresa on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and filled in as Maxie on GENERAL HOSPITAL, has starred in numerous Hallmark movies in recent years. The most recent, Where Your Heart Belongs, premiered on Jan. 1 on The Hallmark Channel. And she also starred in GAC Family’s Royally Wrapped for Christmas, which premiered just after Thanksgiving.
Now, Deadline is reporting that Lilley has inked a new deal with GAC Media to star in four original movies over the next two years. “Aside from being an immensely talented and hardworking actor, Jen is a generous and kindhearted person who is a perfect fit for GAC,” said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of GAC Media. “Many of us on the GAC team have known Jen for years, and we are excited to welcome her to the family as we work together to bring even more entertaining movies to our fans.”
GAC Family was originally a country music channel known as Great American Country, but after it was picked up by GAC Media in 2021, the initials now stand for Great American Channels. GAC Media has been bringing over many other Hallmark Channel stars to star in their TV movies, including Danica McKellar and Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy, DAYS). Could fellow GH alum and frequent Hallmark movie star Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan) be next?
As always, SoapsInDepth.com will let you know when Lilley is starring in another movie, so keep checking back so you don’t miss any of them. Of course, the actress and her husband, Jason Wayne, are expecting another baby in May, so it might be a little while before she goes back to work!
