Congratulations to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Courtney Hope (Sally), who is up for Best Performance at the 2019 Game Awards! If you were unaware, Hope stars as Jesse Faden, the lead character of Control, a videogame released in August for Windows, PlayStation4, and Xbox One. “Pinch me!” she exclaimed on Instagram. “I’m so beyond excited for everyone at Remedy Entertainment for all the nominations at this year’s The Game Awards! Thanks to all the fans and gamers out there for your love and support of Jesse Faden and Control! Tune in Dec. 12 to see all the incredible nominees and winners.”
Control also received nominations in other categories, including Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Performance: Matthew Poretta, Best Audio Design, Best Action/Adventure Game, Best Game Direction, and the big one — Game of the Year. Hope is up against Poretta for Best Performance as well as Ashly Burch, Laura Bailey, Mads Mikkelsen, and Norman Reedus. Control has already won the Critics’ Choice Award at the Golden Joystick Awards this year.
The Game Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 12, where all of the winners will be awarded. However, B&B fans can help Hope take home her trophy by voting for her in the Best Performance category because audience votes are factored in to help determine the winners.
